Our Story

When Steffi Chupein was a little girl her great grandmother, Sara Pyott, was an oil painter.  Sara painted scenes, mostly covered bridges around Chester and Lancaster Counties in Pennsylvania,.  Sara used to hang her art on a clothesline on her back porch pictured above to sell her art.  This gave Steffi an idea and in 2021 she and five artist friends held a porch sale.  It was a huge success and in October of 2022 we grew in our numbers and held a virtual show with 10 artists.

We hope to build a community of creatives and art lovers here and through social media.

Our Artistic Values

The artists of the collective have the mission to.promote the artwork of experienced women artists (a collective) in order to engage the public in appreciating and acquiring art. We share the common values of being connected  between the artist and their work, between the artist and the viewer and between each other.  We wish to share our skills, ideas and use our contacts for the benefit of the collective and our collectors.
